High Silica Fiber Needle Mat (1000°C)

The LFJ's Silica fiber needle mat is made of 100% silica glass fiber, which consists of over 96% SiO2, and withstands temperatures up to 1000℃.


It is used with accurately chopped fiber length, mechanically bonded by the needle punching process, with no additional binders, to ensure high efficiency heat insulation and excellent sound absorption during different applications. The standard thickness needled mat is from 3mm to 25mm, with a uniform density from 100kg/m³ to 220kg/m³, and is available to request other specifications.

The silica needle mat/felt is easy to handle, allowing cutting into any desired shape and form. It is mainly used to offer a preformed pipe for exhaust of automotive and motorcycle, insulation pipe for petrochemical, insulation jacket, and energy saving industries where high temperature resistance is required.

For the working temperature resistance not higher than 650℃, we recommend our E-grade fiberglass needle mat for a more cost-effective solution.
